Dave Howard – Drums

Dave Howard is an experienced drummer with a background that spans school ensembles, college bands, and professional performances. Over the years, he has played with groups including Final Analysis, Our Joy, Veda, and The 95821 Band. His steady rhythm and dynamic style form the foundation of The Jazz Matadors’ sound.

Bill Pipes – Keyboards

Bill Pipes is a skilled keyboardist who studied under jazz musician Jerry Murphy. He has performed with bands such as Final Analysis and The 95821 Band and continues to work as a freelance pianist. His playing blends traditional jazz with modern influences, adding depth and versatility to the group.

Craig Solenberger – Saxophone

Craig Solenberger began playing saxophone in 1961 and has spent decades performing with various bands, including Gillette & the Blades, Philo, Copelia, and The Urban Sherpas. A U.S. Navy veteran, his style is influenced by jazz greats such as Stan Getz and Paul Desmond. His expressive playing brings a classic jazz voice to The Jazz Matadors.

David Lichman – Bass

David Lichman is a bassist who studied at Berklee College of Music and has performed extensively across the East Coast. Throughout his career, he has opened for acts such as the Modern Jazz Quartet and Weather Report. His musical influences include Earth, Wind & Fire and Tower of Power, bringing a rich and grooving bass foundation to the band.
